Erman Yılmaz is Istanbul based graphic, visual, typeface designer (since 2012) and graffiti artist (since 1999). Born in Mersin, Türkiye in 1985. After graduating from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Department of Graphic Design, he continued his master's degree at the Department of Graphic Design in the same university.

In 2017, he founded informal type foundry and co-founded informal project design studio. His clients include musicians, architects, the fashion industry, art galleries and artists, publishers, social and cultural institutions.
